Severin Pisometru, magi of the Kirin'Tor.

((first off, I know I made a post about this chars background story in the "Introduce yourself" thread... and that story sucked =D so I'm going to attempt to remake it, kinda))

Severin Pisometru was born at a rather peaceful time, at least for the Gnomish race. He spent his childhood in the wonderous techno-city of Gnomeregan, learning about the different contraptions and gadgets that sprung out of the gnome inventors' minds like zits on a teenagers' face. Severin developed a deep fascination towards the various widgets and devices, and decided to study engineering at the Academy of Gnomeregan. He managed to start his studies, however, the unimaginable happened shortly after. Gnomeregan was under assault by the barbaric troggs. Seeing he had little choice, Severin chose to leave his beloved city and take refuge in the great dwarven city of Ironforge. When the news that Gnomeregan was irevocably lost got to him, he was devastated, but determined to help Mekineer Mekkatorque to reclaim the city.

However, Severin knew he'd be of little help to the gnomes with the little knoledge he had, so he decided to join The Academy of Mysteries and Arcane Facts of Ironforge, an academy obviously run by gnomes. He quickly made himself remarked and ended his studyes a meere 1 year after, graduating with a Magna Cum Laudae and the Grand Magisters' blessings. And so, Severin set out on his quest to helping his people.

His journey would lead him to Theramore in the hopes of getting some form of help from Jaina Proudmore. He did find help, and in many ways, he found a lot more help then he would've hoped for. He found out that a band of mercenaries, named The Mercenaries of the Sun had setup camp in Theramore, and so he decided to give it a try. He was quickly accepted, and got dispatched to Aerie Peak in Hinterlands, not before lady Proudmore accepted Severin into the Kirin' Tor.

Seeing himself stranded in Aerie Peak, a land where he would've considered himself lucky if the wind was blowing harder, so he'd actually have something to do (protect the trees using Mana Barriers), Severin decided to plunge the depths of Gnomergan himself. He sought after the help of the Mekineer who, in his grace, shared the secrets of gnomish engineering with him. Considering himself ready to brave the dangers of Gnomeregan, Severin plumitted the bowls of the techno-city. He fought bravely, reaching the Clean Zone, where the stranded gnomes had made their last stand. He ralied their forces, convincing them to fight their way till the Tinkers' Court, where a surprise laid in for them. It was there Severin discovered the true reason behind Gnomeregans downfall. Filled with rage, he dissintegrated his fellow gnome, Mekineer Thermaplugg, who was responsible for the entire invasion.

Although victorious, Severin came back from Gnomeregan a changed gnome. Of course, he was rewarded princely by Mekkatorque, and all the hot gnome chicks looked up to him with glitter in their eyes, but he was changed. He had seen what power could do to a gnome, and he was horrified. Heading back towards Aerie Peak, Severin stopped over at Dalaran to search its libraries about Arcane addictions. He had heard of this term before, but he was never convinced wether if was true or false. He found out of the Four Laws of Magic, and he understood that the Arcane was addicting. Very addicting. He decided to limit his use of magic, even if that may hamper his usefullness for the Mercenaries.

Being engaged in the World Regenesis Operation, Severin knew that he will be forced to use his power, even if for a good cause. What would become of him, is at anybodys' guess.
