Nyaa, Orphaned To Trolls

Nyaa grew up without knowing her real name. Her parents had both been captured off the shores of Darkshore while they were on their fishing boat, making out an honest living in the small town on the coast. Nyaa’s mother and father weren’t doctors or scientists or authority figures. They were citizens. Taken by an unorganized, brutal band of Undead, they were taken across the land where they were quickly traded to the Tauren at the northern boarder of the Barrens.

The young, newly married Night Elf couple went quietly, not sure if an escape attempt would be good for themselves our their unborn baby. Now traveling further south, hugging the boarder, they were once again traded off to a small village of Orcs and Trolls, where they were sold into slavery.

Eventually, Nyaa was born into the disgusting, cruel world of the Horde village. She was named by a local Troll, the Shaman who went by the name of Sever. He was sadistic, and angry with her and the world. She knew nothing of what happened to her parents, and was always punished when she asked questions about her parents or the alliance.

Waking up violently at dawn, the stars still luminous above while the sun rose over the horizon. Hearing the war cries of Orc and the clash of metal sent her running from the Worg pen, where she slept. Rounding the hill she drew witness to the slaughtering of the village at the hands of men on horseback, dressed in golden plates of armor. They appeared to be Warriors of the alliance…but they looked nothing like the stories she heard from the villagers.

She stood, stuck in her tracks, unable to convince herself to run away and escape her abusers or go to their aid against the intruders. Her eyes swelled at the sight of an armored man making his way over to her. His golden chest and shoulders glistened against the light above the hill, the same hill that shadowed the massacre that was taking place below.

Within a breaths reach, Nyaa trembled uncontrollably as she stared down at the mans feet, too afraid to look him in the eyes. After catching his fist rising and clenching from the corner of her eye, the world went black.
