The Dark Magus

A few years after the third war ended, a young blood elf mage named Evangeline discovered what she thought would cure her people of their magic addiction. This cure was a disturbance in the Twisting Nether not even The likes of the Kirin Tor have seen before. She reached out, using a combination of shadow and frost magics to reach it. This rift engulfed her, and possessed her. She became The Dark Evangel, a menace to all life, regardless of race.She decimated Outposts in Southern Kalimdor, only to disappear and reappear to ravage towns in Kul Tiras and the remains of the Human Kingdoms. The Lords of the Alliance and the Warchief of the Horde have agreed this menace must be put to an end. They called in the Mercenaries of the Sun, the most powerful organization that only worked to restore peace and balance to the world.
