Ok, for those of you who can't connect to VCN, you have accidentally downloaded the new retail patch. VCN will not be upgrading to the new patch for a while, so if you play retail, stick with it. If you don't play retail, or just want to say fuck retail, you need to downgrade your patch.

It's already been said, but here's more info, hopefully it helps people that might still be confused.

First delete the patch file.
Go here:
C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/data
delete Patch.mpq

Run WoW repair.

IMPORTANT: PATCH DOWNGRADE INFORMATION. 90spsp

Here are uploaded patches that you need to get back to 2.4.2

2.1 Full Patch
2.2.0 Full Patch
2.3.0 Full Patch
2.4.0 Full Patch <--- biggest patch
2.4.0----> 2.4.1
2.4.1----> 2.4.2

Always run your game by loading WOW.EXE in the WoW folder.
NEVER from your desktop, start menu, or by using the launcher.

WoW.exe
only!
you'll have to set your realmlist.wtf file again after you finish the last patch.
