Tyrande Whisperwind is the Priestess of the Moon, and is currently searching for Malfurion Stormrage, her husband, and is in a state of depression as she looks for him. She is an extremely skilled Ranger General of Darnassus.

Moote Windrunner was the guard of Sylvanas Windrunner in Darnassus when the scourge laid siege upon the city. Arthas did not do it for any other reason than to forcefully recruit Sylvanas to the scourge, which required killing her, and resurrecting her into her undeath. Sylvanas served as a mother to Moote, because she had never known nor seen her real parents, and was taken in by her. When Sylvanas was turned, Moote was in the middle of training to be a ranger. Since this was stopped abruptly due to Sylvanas being dead, Moote was forced to be trained as a rogue, a spy.
