| Okay, we know that the guild sometimes has ZERO roleplaying going on, right? We also know that EVERYONE loves treasure hunts! (If you don't you're a communist.) So why not have guild treasure hunts! The treasure hunt would pretty much consist of a bunch of guildies looking for something. This something would have to be something that can't be tracked through hunter/druid aspects (ie: Track Humanoids.) It could be a hunter's pet, or even a warlock's demon. The first person to find it gets some sort of reward. I'm not sure on what the reward would be exactly . . . maybe a pat on the back? Reward could be something like choose which RP spot we would use for next RP, or maybe they could be the "main character" for the next roleplay. I dunno, I guess further details could be talked about later when I find out if this is a good idea or not. -A special note to all of my fans-Thank you, loyal comrads and worshipers for reading my pile of thoughts I put together in two minutes. -A special end to the special note to all of my fans--Loves and kisses and hugs and high-fives and greetings and play punches and waves and odd looks and all that other good stuff. | |

| By the way, we DO have RP going on, but due to some mishaps and the fact that Im getting really stuck for Ideas.. its kind of hard to enforce it. but yeah, this is a fun Idea. I'll keep it in mind | |

| I love this one! It's surely reasonable when we put some effort in it. Rewards could be something I mentioned in the idea for the race?
Unfortunately, when we look for something, a hunter will always have something for it. He can track demons and beasts as well. However, he can't do them all at the same time. So we could do it. We could say: go and find person X, he/she is somewhere in that area. Furthermore we could tell some hints when it takes too long, or place some random people around which also give hints when found.

| Okay, I was thinking through some hunter things since they'd be the largest problem, and I remembered Aspect of the Beast*. It makes them untrackable! So a hunter could be the "treasure."
*Thanks for that one Demon.

So a hunter could be the "treasure." hey that's a good idea. For example: the hunter could be somwhere in outland and teams of 3 would have find him

| Outland is way too big. A specific area can be hard enough already. Good idea to make hunters a treasure. What about the hints if it takes too long? Just say them, or place some people in that area to help when they are found? | |

the hints could be a puzzle. you have to find a player with this hint(he will be trackeble). the puzzle will contain an hint about the place of the hunter AND an hint about the next player with hints. once you collect f.ex. 5 hints it will be clear where to look for the hunter(but you won't know his exact position)

| I have this example: there's a hunter hidden somewhere in Hillsbrad. 10 members are looking for him, a few people (including me in this example) just roam around without doing much. When one of those 10 searching people finds one of us, we have to tell them a hint to bring them closer, then run away again. Each one of us has a different hint, so when you found us all the change to find the hunter is way better. Clear enough? | |

| but one area is too small :S here's another example: let's say you start in Stormwind. Each player will get the hint to look in Hillbrad Foothills for somebody. There will be Ailita, who will give hint like: hidden in the tree and shadows, where the night never ends, you'll find the betrayer and your next hint (that means you have to go to shadownglen to that tree in middle and look for kerana( we will not mention the names). Kerana will give you next hint and so you'll get closer to the hunter. | |

| Glad to see this might be a good idea. As for outland being to big and one area being to small, I think that the area should be based on how many people are hunting: 3-10: One area 11-18: Two areas 19-26: Three areas
As for the hints, yes they should be in the form of a riddle.
Here's a little scenario on what it could look like:
Location: Elywnn forest. Participators: 10 "Hinters": 4
Participator A is having a tough time. He finds "Hinter" 1. "Hinter" 1 gives him the following riddle: "Damp is the place and spooky it is. Creatures guard light as a candle guards the wick." (Something like that O_o.) The place the riddle mentions is a kobold cave. Damp and spooky refers to the inside of a cave and creatures guarding light is the kobolds guarding candles. So player A goes to the kobold cave and finds "Hinter" 2. "Hinter" 2 gives another riddle that leads to "Hinter" 3 and "Hinter" 4. "Hinter" 4 ends up saying something like: "Twisting through the broken ground, it runs deep through the ground." The riddle refers to a river. So Player A goes to the river near Duskwood and ends up finding the "treasure." In the end "Hinter" 1's riddle showed the location after all. "Damp is the place and spooky it is." Duskwood is damp and spooky. So the riddles all lead to eachother and to the "treasure." It's sort of like a riddle inside of a riddle.
EDIT: "Twisting through the broken ground, it runs deep through the ground." can also refer to a cave so Player A might go back to "Hinter" 1. This makes the riddles a little bit more challenging.

| It'd be fun, but it's hard to make up riddles like that. As long as it can be done it's okay for me. If not I think we should have a few hinters around the place who also move (so don't stick at the same area) and have some hints to point out where the treasure is, each hinter having another hint. | |

| and btw ailita, with the right macro a hunter can track everything at once ^^
you set up a macro that switches to the next track every second and cycle it though all your trackingsm put as many in the list as you want.

| Sure, that is possible, but it'll end up kinda useless. The hunter will take too much time in checking all of them before he/she can move on. | |

| not if you only want 3 like say, humanoids creatures and undead. you take all the others out and see these three cycle in the time of about 3 seconds. | |

| But if a Hunter is the "treasure" then our problems are solved. Due to Aspect of the Beast hunters can't be tracked by Track Humanoids.

| As for a hunter/druid searching for the "hinters," we could have all the serachers alone and they wouldn't be in anyone's group, they, the searchers, could also start in different areas. This way the searchers don't really know who else is looking, that way a hunter can't just see the name Saja and go "OMG A HINTER MINE MINE." | |

| That is actually a pretty good idea. I only see two possible problems: Would it be too easy, and how would they die? | |

| Oh ya, warlocks can commit suicide, I forgot about that. Ya that could be a pretty good hint. What happens if someone finds the warlock when he's killing himself? Does he just continue to kill himself or does he say a riddle? | |

| i think it would be better if the warlock killed himself ahead of time, before people left the starting place. and to make it obvious the warlock would be a hint we could name him like, hintone | |
